Jeremy Hawthorne, arrested September 5th, 2011 while on a Copwatch patrol,
is going on trial before a jury for allegedly slashing 7 tires on Virginia
Commonwealth University vehicles, including two police cars. The charge is
Destruction of State Property > $1,000, a Class 6 Felony.
The case is clearly politically motivated; as a part of Richmond Copwatch,
Jeremy is one of several who have been targeted by Richmond police in past

Occupy Day in Support of Prisoners on Monday February 20th. In the Bay Area there will be a demonstration at San Quentin.

This march is answering the call by LPDOC for marches and rallies on Feb.
4, 2012 Internationally in support of clemency for Leonard Peltier. Of all
the regional marches in Tacoma, 16 since 1992, this is the most important
one yet. The New Leonard Peltier Clemency Campaign is building and we need
